The last weekend of every month, on Saturday, we have a reception at Kirchman Gallery. The last weekend of every other month the Beninis host Arts Encounters at the Benini Sculpture Ranch. This picture of my friend Donna and me was taken on Sunday January 27th at the Benini Studio. There were large crowds at Beninis that weekend for a great schedule of presentations. Visitors had an inspiring time there and at the art gallery receptions here in Johnson City on Saturday night. Watson Studio Gallery opened their new juried show Menage Trois that evening at the same time that we opened our Heart of the Matter, Art for the Valentine Season, show. Both exhibitions are delightfully interesting and reception guests responded very favorably. The Kirchman Gallery Valentines exhibition comes down on February 18th, so visit sooner rather than later. You will LOVE the luminescent iridescent encaustic heart paintings by Darrell Troppy, (which would make great Valentine presents)!
